Philipp D.P. Steiner, Dipl. Chem. HTL

Mr. Steiner began his career in 1976 as a Laboratory Technician in Zürich (Switzerland) and went on to a similar position in South Africa in 1979, for Mondi Paper.  He returned to Switzerland to graduate in 1984 at the Winterthur Polytechnic with a diploma (comparable to a BSc degree) in Chemical Engineering.

On his return to South Africa he worked in the technical, production and projects departments of Mondi Paper, Dow Chemicals and Chemserve Trio.  Mr. Steiner gained extensive experience in the management of technical businesses as well as in product and project development and contributed to the success of the companies he worked for. While with Chemserve he was promoted to Business Development Manager and was directly responsible for local & international business development within the company’s areas of expertise, as well as preparation and presentation of tenders and proposals for a variety of process plants.

In 1994 he joined Engineering Management Services as Marketing Manager responsible for marketing their capabilities to select clients in KwaZulu-Natal, the Pulp & Paper Industry of South Africa as well as the Sugar Industry both locally and internationally.  

Since the beginning of 1996 Mr. Steiner was employed as Bosch Projects’ Marketing Manager.  The spectrum of marketing under his direct influence covered a variety of disciplines and industries as well as the development of new business. He was a director until July 2001 of Bosch Projects (Pty) Ltd and Managing Director of its offshore subsidiary companies.

Philipp is a founding member of the DalinYebo Group and DalinYebo Investments CC as well as a founding director of DalinYebo Trading and Development (Pty) Ltd and International Furan Technology (Pty) Ltd.
